"This cabin was exactly what I was wanting. It's very cute and cozy. The beds are very comfy and clean. The outside was also very clean and the pier was very cute. We got to meet the neighborhood fat cat and he is very friendly. Fire pit was great. The only thing it was lacking was clear instructions on what the check out instructions were but we did clean up our mess and left it clean. The drive into Edenton was about 20 min. And wasn't a bad drive but if you are wanting to drive back and forth...

"Words just can’t completely express how excellent this little cottage on the river is! We wanted to have alone family time away from it all, and we literally stumbled across this wonderful place. We’ve never booked anything through Vrbo so we didn’t know what to expect. When we checked in, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect! Better than the description and pics! We thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay here. Such perfect porch views of the river, and nature- so many birds and duck...

"You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo...

"Very clean hotel. Very accommodating, professional and friendly staff. Breakfast was good and best of all the food was hot! I've stayed at this Best Western several times in the past, it has always been a Good stay. I know I will be back in the future when my plans take me to Greenville, NC. Definitely recommend... the price is right the accommodations are clean and consistent. "

Nice, clean room

"The room was recently renovated and very nice. It was clean and the staff were very nice and accommodating. They had a very nice warm breakfast with cold options of cereal and yogurt and bananas. They are still completing renovations, so the soap holder was not in the shower stall yet and no hair dryer yet."

"Given the chance we love staying at Hampton Inn Hotels when we can afford to. This one was really clean, beds were comfy, the pillows were great, bathrooms were clean...although there was something very slick in the shower and I almost fell 😳 I had to put a towel down to keep from falling and there was some kind of sketchy white powder on the bathroom door handle but I carry Lysol so I cleaned that right up. They had the a/c on 59 waiting for us and we LOVED that!!!! The staff on both shifts weren't rude per-say but they weren't friendly either...maybe just having bad days. The breakfast was lacking...I wanted fruit and all they had was apples."
