“Our host Tina and her husband Gary sacrificed quite a lot to make this trip happen for me and my family. Long story short, it was perfect. The weather was perfect and we witnessed the most perfect total eclipse IN THE LINE OF TOTALITY!! We sat in Tina and Gary’s back pasture near a pond. It’s crazy, the day before it rained, then eclipse day woke up sunny and stayed that way till later that night. Since after the eclipse it’s been April showers bring May flowers since!! “I very much enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was clean, comfortable & close to the Shawnee National Forest & the Wine Trail. The bed & furniture were comfortable. The kitchenette allowed me to have all meals in, as it has a half-refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, plates, glasses & mugs. The bathroom towels were luxurious & there was ample soap, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. The heat & air-conditioning were easy to use.
