“Cute and clean farm house. Great view and property. The lake was fantastic. We plan to rent again in warmer weather to utilize the lake more. The owner was great. Communication was great. Perfect family get away.”

“House was spacious, nicely appointed overall and comfortable. Did have problem opening door lock to get in on arrival, but finally got it to work. The stairs on side of house were a nuisance when carrying belongings, groceries, etc in and when leaving. Loved sitting in swing on front porch. Would recommend this property for large family gatherings.”

“My sisters and I stayed at the house for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, charming home. From the moment we arrived, we felt this was a special place. We hosted my niece's bridal shower is the "Memory Farm" barn and it could not have been more beautiful. The property was peaceful, charming and so different from a typical restaurant event. We were able to make it our own and share the day with our new goat pals who peeked through the window:) We had great communication……

“The house was so cozy, organized, and clean. We had a funeral to attend, and our time there was very scheduled and busy. By the end of the day we were exhausted, so walking into the home in the evening was like receiving a big hug.”

“My family of 5 adults & 3 children under age of 4 stayed 2 nights while hosting 18 additional local family members for our annual Christmas in July family gathering. The Farmhouse was equipped with everything needed including space inside and out! Chad is an excellent host! He was right on top of our needs and then some! He delivered a dozen Blueberry Donuts made right on site Red River Farms!! And Chad made time to photograph our group and introduce us to the retail side of Red River Farms……

“Our host Tina and her husband Gary sacrificed quite a lot to make this trip happen for me and my family. Long story short, it was perfect. The weather was perfect and we witnessed the most perfect total eclipse IN THE LINE OF TOTALITY!! We sat in Tina and Gary’s back pasture near a pond. It’s crazy, the day before it rained, then eclipse day woke up sunny and stayed that way till later that night. Since after the eclipse it’s been April showers bring May flowers since!! I believe everything……

“It is an older property that has been remodeled, the kitchen is amazing anything you could want and then some. The only this I wish would be storage in the kitchen and bathroom. I moved out of a cab it so I could put food and seasoning in it. The bathroom has some beautiful tile and looks great but the only place set anything is the back of the toilet so I had my water pic on the kitchen counter. But it was very cute and the hostess so helpful and kind.”

“This property is a little hard to get to, but worth the trip. It is very close to Garden of the gods and other southern Illinois attractions.”
