"The property facade looked run down, but I was pleasantly surprised that our first-floor room had been renovated. Gone is the filthy carpeting endemic to motels of this class, replaced by a nice, clean, wood-look laminate. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The toilet, shower, and light fixtures worked great. The manager offered to replace our TV remote, but we weren't planning to watch TV during our short stay. "Very run down motel (still early 80s). Not the hotels fault but a transformer went out, so no electricity from 5 to 10:30pm with temp was at 105 that day. Very hot room with a weak a/c. Finally cooling off around 4am. Was not happy. "
