“The cabin was very well equipped. We were very relaxed and cozy staying here. The fireplace was helpful in staying warm. The kitchen is well set up. There were many good books to select a good read from. Lighting, fireplace, hottub and all other features were set up with very helpful information. I highly recommend this property.”

“Ollie was a great host. He was so helpful and nice. The bunkie was adorable and excellent. The futon bed was surprisingly comfortable--we slept really well on it. The composting toilet in the very clean outhouse was perfect and did not smell at all. The camping shower worked great for us. The only thing I would do if I owned the property would be to tidy up a bit. There were some bottles and canisters and stuff lying about in the woods and some ancient equipment that I would haul away. All in……

“What an absolutely beautiful place. My wife and I spent an extended weekend for our anniversary to get away and relax. My wife loves to cook, and this kitchen was so well thought out, it had everything she needed. The only thing to note was that if you are a light sleeper and sleep in the bedroom on the main floor, the heat pump may wake you up when it kicks on. We wished we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back maybe in the fall or again next winter.”

“I booked this property by mistake buz I didn't noticed that this place is water access only and I don't have a boat. After community with Pam & Glen, they found me a water taxi. I would say that communication with Pam & Glen was seamless and their warm hospitality made my trip truly memorable. The view of the lake is unbeatable. The cabin has everything I needed. “Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Der Empfang und die Kommunikation mit Mike und dem Papa waren herzlich und sehr gastfreundlich. Sauna, kleines Tauchbecken und BBQ fanden wir super. Haus alles so wie auf den Fotos. Das Einzige was uns gefehlt hat, waren ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten für 4 Personen. Und die Schlafkissen fanden wir zu hart. Aber das empfindet ja jeder anders. “My husband and I (and our dog) stayed here for our anniversary weekend. It was very clean when we arrived and smelled like pine. Super cozy! As other reviews mentioned the doors are a hard to close but it’s doable! Not a problem at all. And as far as the “close to the road” it’s not a problem at all. I think we saw 3-4 cars go by the entire weekend. Very quiet road! “Really had a wonderful time staying 2 nites, and visited the lake many times, spent the majority of our time down there. Took the canoe out each day, wonderful quiet and private lake, and never saw anyone else on it. ATV trails close by, but did not disrupt or trip. The cabin had a lot of really sweet touches, making it a step up (and more comfortable) that basic camping. Would love to visit again in another season!!”
