“We stayed in the Birdie. Adorable little cabin! Had a 50's vibe with midcentury furniture. The couch and chairs could stand to be more comfortable, as they were definitely made for smaller people. Spouse and I are both shorter than 5'2" (157cm) and everything was perfectly sized for us. Our daughter is almost 5'7" (170cm) and most things were too short/small for her. “Muskoka Lake Cottages is a nice cabin style cottage. This cabin style cottage has a beautiful lake view of Brandy Lake that is 7mins to Port Carling and 15min to Bracebridge. Lots of fishing everywhere you can use the resort kayaks to cruise the lake that is included. Excellent stay we will be back in the near future. ”

“We wanted to get away for a quiet 2 day vacation, and this cabin surpassed our expectations. The weather didn't totally cooperate but we had a great time exploring collingwood, the wineries, cideries and breweries. The cabin is fairly isolated and we loved sitting on the porch and just looking out at the pond and the fantastic view. If we are able we want to go back in the summer when the weather will be better.”

“This property and home was unbelievable! The pictures do not do it it justice, I've been telling all my friends and family about this and showing my photos of the unique home. The octagon shape with the fireplace as the centre of the main room is beautiful. When we first arrived it felt like an adventure to learn the home. “It was my sister and I that stayed at the cottage for a week at the end of September. The cottage was small and cozy, which is what we like. We had a beautiful week of great weather and we loved the fact that the cottage was on a wetland. We like to swim if we can, but we enjoyed the water fowl very much. Geese and ducks and even herons. It was a very pretty spot. We arrived a little early and the owner was still there and it was very nice to meet her. A great stay all around. Judy.”

“It is rustic. But is a good place to get some sleep after a busy and tiring day of sightseeing. Washroom and bathroom are shared but they were clean and never had to wait to use them. It is close to Tobermory and all the major attractions in the area. I like the idea of the metered shower. It deters water wastage. $1 for 5 minutes of running water. Did not have to use more than one dollar. Dining options nearby…Litlle Cove Bakery for breakfast, Lacy’s and Hungry Hikers food trucks were great.”

“The cabin was very well equipped. We were very relaxed and cozy staying here. The fireplace was helpful in staying warm. The kitchen is well set up. There were many good books to select a good read from. Lighting, fireplace, hottub and all other features were set up with very helpful information. I highly recommend this property.”
