“Very good hotel，great room n comfort， suitable for family”

“Clean comfortable and very quiet. Not noticeably busy at all. Rather dated interior & no food served at the hotel. No breakfast lunches or evening meals despite notices outside saying hotel has a restaurant. It doesn’t. Nevertheless it offers reasonable comfortable sleeping accommodation and there are cafe’s & restaurants within a short distance. ”

“Really great boutique hotel / restaurant, think the name gives away the sort of menu you get with a well stocked bar & wine cellar. The parking was easy. The food is excellent & staff knowledgable, friendly & helpful. The rooms have been given an upgrade & are in a fantastic modern style with really comfy kingsize bed. ”

“The manager was helpful as the roller blind did not work properly and the retaining cable(s) had to be cut for the blind to drop and cut out the daylight. The evening meal was excellent.”

Susan introduced us to nearby tourist attractions and routes and gave us many tips on saving money and budget-friendly travel options. We enjoyed the breakfast at the place very much. The breakfast was very abundant and fresh, prepared by the chef on the same day. Please confirm your check-in time, as the chef needs to wake up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for each guest, so they need to go……

“Very pretty country location. The rooms including common rooms were all lovely. The tiny bathrooms were cramped and windowless and let the property down. Breakfasts were lovely, with lots of choice. We didn’t have dinner there, as prices were over the top, compared with what we were paying in other locations on our trip around the UK. ”

“I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children age 10 and 5 !!! At time of booking it sais 2 double beds and was only one double to then be allocated a room with 2 double beds and had to pay extra £15 for the 2 children this is a failt with expedia and not the property as at time of booking it stated 2 double beds !!! ”
