They are so comfortable they practically suck you in. Everything was convenient to our room. The lake was right outside our door, which couldn’t have pleased us more. The store, diner, and rental boats were right there. We had planned some hiking, and we discussed renting an electric boat. In the end, we opted to sit by the lake and have……

“The room was exactly as pictured with better decor than the expensive Guy Harvey Resort where we stayed the previous night. Jud, the host, was friendly. We arrived on Easter Sunday when everything was closed for dinner. Jud invited us to have hamburgers that he was grilling for his staff which was very nice of him. We spend a day sitting lakeside, me reading, and my husband painting. That day by the lake was just what we needed. Thanks, Jud, for your hospitality.”

“The location offers easy access to multiple boat ramps on Lake Marion. There are restaurants and gas stations close as well. The house was very clean and well kept. High speed internet was a plus as cell service is questionable in the area. There was plenty of parking for our trucks & trailers. Excellent communication from the owner.”

“I enjoyed my stay here. It is a very nice home. You can walk right out back and fish or just sit by the water. Water view when indoors is nice. Host was very responsive. Please know that you cannot take fish remains to the dump. They have signs, and they told us they do not accept them. When we asked how we should dispose of them, they told us they didn't know, but recommended we dig a hole. So, that was interesting. You only have access to the public dock, which isn't far.
