“Bed was comfortable, large room and bathroom, very clean throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied and well cooked. Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Gardens extensive. No local amenities that I was aware of. Sort of place ideal if just passing through, having a reception or making use of the bar/restaurant.”

“So glad we found this place to stay, great value. Our room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay, tea,coffee,bottled water and biscuits. Every member of staff we met was cheerful and friendly and service in restaurant and bar very efficient. Breakfast with choice days and there is a buffet at the weekend. We ate in the restaurant two evenings, good value and lots of choice. Home made tasty food. On Friday there was also a carvery and pie night. In the grounds there is……

“Loved the quaint B&B and the very friendly staff. The food in the pub was great. Best Fish & Chips we've had in the UK. Our room was small but comfortable. Glad we had beautiful sunny weather but it made it a little too warm for us in the room, but of course we aren't expecting A/C in a classic building. We love the charm & character and wouldn't have it any other way. ”

“A wonderful Manor House with views and trees, birds and big Wiltshire skies. Perfect room with an enormous comfortable sleigh bed, sofa and spotless bathroom. Wendy is a perfect host and was so caring of us. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully laid out on a large dining table. I so recomment this wonderful bed and breakfast and will definitely return some day.”

“Staff was helpful and the room was fantastic. Dinner and breakfast were fine. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the hotel, but there was an absolute terrible stench outside when we arrived, it could actually still be smelled in the room. It eventually died down but never went away”

“What a beautiful property. Its a credit to its owners who have not missed anything that makes an overnight stay comfortable. Super clean, upmarket, comfortable and with all the little things that you expect - tea, coffee, biscuits - just those nice little touches. Then, there is the pub, which is simply superb. A classic English pub. What's not to like? And the breakfast was sensational. Highly reccomended. ”
