“Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Couldn’t ask for more in any way. Food was lovely.”

“Lovely stay in centre of village . Room was comfy and spotless with all expected ammenites , Only snag was our view was a wall and not the gorgeous views offered elsewhere. Breakfast was tasty but heads up its a hot / cold buffet . Car parking on site is practically impossible but main seahouses carpark just over the road at a cost of 10 pound for 24 hours . This we learnt could be refunded at hotel if you give in your ticket but as required parking up after leaving carpark was a hassel so……

“It was a cosy-feeling terraced house, and the room and ensuite were comfortable and generous in size. Breakfast was served in a pleasant front room.”

“As soon as we arrived & met the lovely Michelle we knew this stay was going to be brilliant she was so helpful & we were allowed into our room early to drop our luggage off. The room was amazing so clean with everything you needed provided (beverages,water,biscuits,toiletries,hairdryer,fan) & the beds were so comfortable we didn’t want to get up😃 breakfast was very good with cereal,fruit & yogurt offered plus juice & hot drinks & a delicious full English. Free Wi-Fi was very quick.Would highly……

“Pub was great, food was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room, Senna Cove was very comfortable, shower fantastic and bed really comfy. The photo on the website is possibly a wee bit out of date. Pub really welcomes dogs, ours was very well catered for and loved his sausages for breakfast. Pub would benefit from having a bin for used poo bags. There are none around. Overall a great experience and we would definitely return ”

“I travelled up from London and needed somewhere to stay close to Bamburgh castle. I booked Purdy Lodge. It was close to everywhere I wanted to visit. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with lovely views of the countryside and Bamburgh castle. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I have no complaints at all with my stay at Purdy Lodge and will definitely stay again the next time I come to Bamburgh. ”

“Beautiful house and gardens although when we were there it rained a lot so didn't get chance to use the garden. Really friendly hosts nothing was too much trouble and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. EV charging is not a problem either. All in all, perfect hosts and a perfect weekend break.”
