“Meander sits in a lovely setting in the country, and the rooms/cottages are so cute, very relaxing in an area where there are many sites/activities in which to participate, if you want to be busy. But this is also a therapeutic, get-a-way setting for quiet reading/study.”

“Loved the setting in a small town within 30 minutes of Old Rag Mountain (popular hiking spot). The hosts were so helpful with info on dining options in the area and in towns within 10 minutes drive. In this very town, there are restaurants within a few short blocks, including a delicious bakery/coffee shop. Accommodations were perfect. The room and private bathroom were immaculate, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Loved the Kuerig and supply of coffee!!! And lastly, had an amazingly……

“Very pet friendly, which is important to us, given that we have two dogs. Alan Webb, the host, has a cockatoo, which the dogs loved and which we loved also. Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park. Good breakfasts and good amenities in the room, with Keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv with streaming, and good wi-fi.”

“Wonderful family togetherness in a beautiful log castle. My sons cooked wonderful meals, kids loved the outdoor space and the perfect tree-house. The home was the most impressive we have ever stayed in. The views of the mountains were majestic. The kitchen is huge. We loved having two dishwashers. There are so many bedrooms, so much space and interesting things to do. We loved it.”
