Upgrading rooms…good thing but was not a bother to us. Some upgrades were done in our condo which were very nice!”

“Property included lots of activities for families - shuffleboard, table tennis and indoor pool were our favorites. Everything was clean and stocked ( pots, extra bedding) and included free laundry machines! ”

“This was a great place for our short stay. The most important thing to us was the dog friendly atmosphere for a reasonable price, which we found here at swell life. The home was clean. You can see the sound/bay and the ocean from the deck. If you sit in the right spot you can watch the waves roll in and in the other spot watch the sun set and its gorgeous colors over the sound/bay. You can hear the ocean at all times. We always like a oceanfront view and although this wasn't an oceanfront view.……

“The stay was great even though the weather wasn’t the best. The house was nice and the location was great. There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed such as a loose board on the deck and the shower curtain rod needs to be permanently attached so it doesn’t fall on someone else’s head. We would stay here again on our next trip to the Outher Banks if it was available.”

“If you’re thinking about renting this house, do it! You will not be disappointed! Like the other reviews mentioned, this house is so clean. The seller always responded within minutes of sending a message. One bedroom with king bed, one bathroom and laundry room are down stairs. The other 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and living room are upstairs. The seller has bistro lights around porch rails so arriving after dark helped us see. I will rent again!”

“My siblings and I spent a weekend at this cottage for our annual trip. It was extremely clean and we had no issues upon check-in; the entire process was seamless and easy. This was my first Vrbo rental, and I was well pleased and would recommend this cute nostalgic cottage for other visitors to Nags Head. It would work especially well for small families since there is only one bathroom. Also, FYI, the washer and dryer are in a detached garage on the property, but that posed no issues for our……

“Overall nice little joint. Two people was great size for us. Didn’t spend much in the room any how. Beach access was right there along with the 4wheel access to beach as well”

“This was our second visit and it was every bit as wonderful as the first time. Unfortunately there were no dolphin sightings but that was the only disappointment and was nothing to do with the home. Due to outside temperatures we had to fuss with the thermostat quite a bit, Vickie was fantastic with responding to our inquiries.”

But about 5 minutes later I was able to get a hold of someone and check in. I’ve stayed here for years, I hope this place can stay as good as it was in the past, even if I had to pay 20% more I would to keep this place as an option. ”
