“This place is perfect for a solo getaway! It has everything you need for a few days/nights escape. It's a quick drive to the beach, as well as to the Nags Head Nature Preserve. The small touches of high quality dishes, soaps, linens, etc. make it feel luxurious! The small seating area outside the door is ideal. The host was very nice and quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend!”

“Super hosts who met us on arrival to show us around and answered any questions immediately such as places to eat and things to do. They also rustled up some decaf coffee for us. Everything was well stocked and it was very cozy and comfy. It is very comforting that the bath has grab bars and a rubber mat. The location is in a wonderful neighborhood with big tall trees and lots of green but still close to a main artery for good access to everything. An added plus is that there are fire/police……

“The Lil Surf Shack was perfect for our little family of 3. We had plenty of space and everything was well stocked to suit our needs. The location was perfect! The beds/mattresses could use a little TLC but otherwise, we loved this little place. We will definitely consider staying here again should we ever find ourselves back that way again.”
