"We spent three nights in this cute townhouse. It was well stocked and clean and suited our needs for our stay. The beds were comfortable and off street parking was great. The house was updated with new kitchen and baths. It is a little far from the city areas but we didn’t mind a 20 minute drive to get there."

Totally uncomfortable stay. We used bag chairs to sit in to watch tv. Every day smelled pot odor which came through heating ducts. No temperature control in apartment."

"There are no TVs in the bedroom, he really doesn’t answer messages, but the house is clean, the beds are comfortable, and when he does eventually answer, the issues get resolved. I would stay again."

"I really liked the location near Union College and the bars and restaurants in the area. Very walkable. Very convenient amenities as well (full kitchen, laundry, etc). Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises."

"The place worked out OK for us, but wasn't particularly comfortable. Check-in communications were incomplete (off-street parking not described, no TV instructions, etc.). Air conditioning was marginal and window coverings interfered with them (and did not keep out the morning sun). There were several uncovered gaps around the air conditioning. The drier vent had fallen off and had a hole in it so that when re-attached it still vented into the room. More information about the town and amenities...

"My husband and I were thrilled with our visit to the Modern Studio in Ballston Spa. The in-person facilities were even more lovely than the pictures, with many thoughtful, extra touches that made the setting special and comfortable. We were conveniently located, allowing us to enjoy the in-town festivities as well as the beautiful, peaceful countryside. Our companion was our very energetic 15-month old golden retriever who took great joy in running (and running and running) around the huge yard....

"Excellent location in downtown Schenectady and enough amenities to make us feel comfortable. It had an odd odor and was sparsely decorated, so it felt like a mostly empty apartment. But we would stay again."

"The studio was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Everything was as advertised. There was a keurig with k cups and cream provided. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked that we had no problem cooking the meals we planned, despite some of them requiring multiple pots and pans. The bed was UNBELIEVABLY comfortable. The property managers were very communicative and friendly, but never bothersome or overbearing. "

"Tony was a fantastic host. Tony's place was immaculate, well stocked. Tony made us feel lime family. Tony bent over backwards to give us insight to places to go, eat and see. He even had a bottle of wine for us when we arrived for our anniversary. His kayaks and canoes were available to use on the lake that his property was on. My wife and I will be sure to go back again. 5 stars all around. "

"House is in a nice location. The pictures were photoshopped on the listing to make the wood appear to be a more modern wood tone than it actually is. Not a huge deal but definitely something I noticed upon arrival. The bath towels provided by the house were bleach stained. No AC in bedrooms. Plant overgrowth on back deck. Ice maker doesnt work in freezer. Minor issues that could be addressed to provide a nicer experience for guests. Overall the house was not bad and we had a nice stay, but not 5...
