"The cabin was adorable. The grounds around the pond and the cabin were all neatly mowed. Pond gave us extra excitement for our short trip as we fished. Really enjoyed our stay in this great little cabin. It didn’t bother us as we read all the amenities, but there is no stove. Just know this. There is a microwave though. Also the DIRECTV has about every station you can possibly think of to watch.Including Pay stations. This is a 9 out of 10. Super relaxing!"

"First I was surprised there was no wifi. But my daughter had wifi from her work that she brought so that worked. Couldn’t find a trash can in the kitchen. Text and called but no response. Then it was so dark in there. Not even a lightbulb in the nightstand lights. Even the bedrooms were dark. Plus there was a light over the bathroom sink. Could find a switch to make it come on. Cushions outside very worn and tattered. Other than that it was great. Nothing we couldn’t work around. Great location."

"Great, quaint cabin, that is well maintained and tastefully appointed. Setting on the covered porch looking out over the trees and pasture made me feel like I was 1000 miles from anywhere. The hobby farm next door was really cool. There were all kinds of animals on the property, many roaming free. I even saw a skulk of foxes as I pulled into the property. A quick 8 minute drive and you were in Carbondale. Very cool."

"Tom was a most gracious host! He provided great information on the area and activities and went out of his way to ensure all our needs were met. His property is a perfect weekend retreat, with little touches, that made it extra special. The people in the area were very welcoming, too! Check out the donation-based full buffet breakfast on Sat mornings from 8:30-10 AM at Eagle Point Lodge, just around the corner. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, the property decor was beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and the beds were soooo comfortable.
