“This trip was for a family gathering at Oak Island. We had several family members spread out in different rentals across the island! This was a great little cottage in a great location. It was clean and cozy, and just the right size! Property owner checked in with us to ensure we were comfortable! It was a great experience!”

“The home was as it appears in the photos. We loved the screened in porch. The home was clean and had a lot of amenities. The neighborhood is quiet. The only draw back was the actual distance to the ocean- you could walk it- but you have to cross a busy road. We were lucky enough to have family also visiting that had a rental that was beach front- so we didn’t have to make that walk or have to pay for parking if we drove over to the public parking. This was our first time here/ so I was not……

“My husband, dog and I enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and we appreciated the fully stocked Keurig and treats. Additionally, the beds were very comfortable. The view from the deck was beautiful and was so convenient right on the beach. We hope to be back!”

“This home is perfect for me, my husband and two older children (not yet teenagers). The outdoor shower was my absolute favorite! Very quick walk to public beach access. And the backyard setup was perfect! We would hang out in the back around the fire pit (without a fire because it was hot outside) and the scenery and sounds were very relaxing! Definitely going back.”

So roomy, and so conveniently located The beach is a few blocks in one direction, and the intracoastal a few blocks in the other direction. And all the amenities in town are at your fingertips. Location couldn't have been better! Communication was great!”

“We spent 3 nights here and absolutely loved this place. It is bigger on the inside than it appears outside. It is cozy, charming, well furnished, had quality linens, was impeccably clean, and decorated beautifully. Plus there are stunning sunsets from the back deck where there is also nice outdoor shower. John and Sarah the owners live next door and were extremely helpful and provided kayaks for us to launch from their doc. It was a very short 5 min walk to the beach in a relatively quiet area……
