“Great out of the way place to stay when visiting UIUC! Highly recommend going to Champaign for activities and meals because, it is located in a small town with a closed down mall that lacks any night life or restaurants besides a McDonald's a gas station and maybe some other fast food chain/chains. But does have a grocery store all in walking distance. ”

“We just got settled in but the room is lovely, beds are comfy, receptionist was super nice. So far we're very happy. Haven't experienced the breakfast yet but so far it's great!”

“Nice and clean property, very quiet. Toilet had a slight leak but front desk says they need would address it. Breakfast was ok, some lactose free milk was available. Felt sorry for whomever had to clean breakfast area as a family was there making quite a mess. Will definitely stay here again.”

“Very clean and well kept up and not a trace of that old smoke smell which seems to plaque nearly all the other facilities which I have stayed in recently. A little off the path, but quaint. First time I have been given a real metal room key , instead of a computer card,,in a long time. And I liked it.-FBP”

“Cozy, but not cluttered, clean well appointed property. Close to our favorite bakeries, Art Mart and Sun Singer and a short drive to the Virginia Theatre. Soft sheets and duvets, fluffy adult size towels. Nice coffee bar and snacks. Comfy front and back porches extend the size of the home, beautiful back yard and paved off street parking, quiet treelined street. Excellent instructions and communication from the host. We will definitely book the next time we're in Champaign for an event.”

“The Attic was comfortable and clean. I have a weird old house and this was very similar. Overall I liked it a lot. There were some cobwebs and the paint job was subpar but it was safe and comfortable.”

“The house was big and spacious and easily accommodated all of us. Parking was easy. It was close to campus and other shopping. Noisy train at night and dogs at pet day care started barking early in the morning made it challenging to sleep. Everything else was good.”

“We stayed two nights here during our travels to Indiana to see the solar eclipse. This place was perfect for us and I have no complaints about our stay. Thank you for everything and I highly recommend staying here over any hotel in the area.”

“Overall we enjoyed staying here. The house was clean and had a lot of character. The street and neighborhood were nice. We had 10 people staying here and were comfortable. We did use the couch to sleep on and brought an air mattress (they do have one there but we brought our own). The owner was very responsive to messages, answering questions quickly and when we arrived there was a wire hanging in the outdoor area which he had someone come fix the next morning. The only thing I didn’t realize……
