“We had an amazing. Tina and her husband were so easy and accommodating. The unit was exactly what we expected an extremely clean and well put together. They set up the fire put for us one night. All and all we enjoyed our stay so much and are going return for sure.”

“L’emplacement était très bien mais manquait d’équipement!! Une cuisine où n’y avait pas de verres, de linges de cuisine, de grille-pain. C’était très rudimentaire comme équipement. Il est clair que quand on loue ce type d’hébergement, on s’attend à avoir l’équipement requis pour les repas même s’il n’y avait pas de cuisinière. De plus, pas moyen d’avoir de la chaleur, la thermopompe était brisée. Notre hôte nous a offert de changer pour l’unité voisin mais la thermopompe ne fournissait pas de……

“A lot to like about this cottage - very close to beach, on a quiet dead end laneway, all new kitchen, very clean, good outdoor space with comfortable seating, grill, umbrellas, patio lights, good communication with owner. The only downside is that it's really small inside with a steep low ceilinged staircase. We were all over 65 and feared falling on it, even the shortest hit their head on one part of the ceiling! It's a vintage cottage, so just be forewarned. In the overpriced vacation rental……

“Everything was exactly as advertised!”

“Apartment is on the second floor and I had a little difficulty carrying my suitcase up the stairs. Other than that, apartment was just as advertised. There is only room for two to eat at the kitchen breakfast bar, and the coffee maker uses regular coffee, not k-cups. Place was beautifully clean and very quiet. Bed was comfortable and shower was nice and hot. The location is great. I walked two blocks to the Thirsty Moose restaurant one evening. Would definitely stay here again!”

“The property was very clean and large enough for my family of 6. 2 of my sisters with their families or 4 each. There was 14 of us. We had so much space and did not feel we were on top of each other. A great time was had by all. Highly recommend. Thanks”

“A wonderful property - quiet and serene with a large fenced backyard. House is well maintained and near kittery and portsmouth. Only problem is the front door lock. It needs immediate replacing. My wife was inside and noticed that the locking mechanism would not turn even though the proper code was entered. The hidey key worked but was still difficult to use.”

“I want to emphasize that I would stay here again. But also - if we had not been a group of New Englanders, we would have run into a lot of trouble. My group of 6 friends stayed several days in January. A major winter storm was in the forecast. No problem - two people driving in brought snow shovels for their own cars, we bought some extra supplies in case the power went out. What we were not prepared for were some failures in winter precautions: -there was no salt at the house, even though……

“I enjoyed a weekend away here with a few girlfriends and we were beyond impressed with this property! We immediately noticed how clean it was upon check-in. It looks even better than the pictures and the location is walkable to numerous shops and restaurants. An added bonus was enjoying coffee at the cafe that was right below us. I can’t say enough good things about our weekend here and I would absolutely stay here again!”

“This location was perfect for a quick winter getaway. Located less than a half mile from all the great spots in Portsmouth and with off street parking was so great. The apartment was clean , organized and cozy. Everything from arrival to departure went smoothly and we would absolutely come back!”
