“Very nice little place to stay. The rooms give off a “grandma’s house” kind of vibe (the smell is there, too. Not in a bad way, not humid at all.) I slept well, the beds were cushy (maybe a bit too much for me, personally). They allow dogs ($15 fee) and have a specific potty area for them with waste bags provided. Laundry services were also available ($1.50 in quarters for washer, $1.00 in quarters for dryer). The staff was very friendly and it appeared they have coffee to buy. The bathroom……

“Great little cabin for a quick friends get away. It is so quiet outside. We sat by the fire and watched deer play. Cabin was clean and beds were comfortable.”

“Loved the stylish decor around the cabin as well as the hot tub! We sat on the small back porch and saw wildlife wander through the woods while enjoying morning coffee. Overall a great stay!”

“This was the perfect cabin for our weekend stay! We had everything we needed. Very quiet area (at least in mid February), wood fireplace was so cozy and everything worked great and was clean. We visited the pool and hot tub at The Woods center was relaxing (you are given each a one day pass). Great hiking trails with awesome views!! Loved it we will be back.”

“It was over all good. Only issue is there is no noise policy so we had neighbors outside playing music and parting loudly until about 1 am. Other then that it was a nice place to stay for 1 night”

“It was rainy but so lovely. The place was perfect with such a wonderful location and beautiful view from screened in porch. The cabin is a bit old and the screened in porch was not cleaned. But really a great space and close the DC.”

“We stayed for a quick last minute getaway. Lots of value for the price. The house was well stocked with necesseties and mostly clean. It could use a more regular deep clean as the windwsills by the kids bed had old bugs, cobwebs on some decor and under the couch trundle bed was very dirty. There wasnt wifi and the number that was left for us couldnt be used on the house phone. None of this hindered our stay though. Hot tub was the reason we booked and very easy to use and enjoy. no neighbors on……

“This Coolfont cabin was the perfect weekend home for our family of four (and our dog). Friendly staff at the lodge welcomed us with giant smiles and answered all our of questions. The cabin was cozy and warm with ample space. Large, clean bathrooms. Especially loved the wood stove. We enjoyed the hiking and biking trails nearby, as well as the on-site restaurant, on-site pool and brew pub just across the street. Will definitely be back!”
