"Although the property is very close to the interstate highway and our room faced the highway, once the door was closed there was very little noise. Once inside the room it is as good as any two-star hotel, with plenty of hot water, a mini-fridge, clean towels and bedsheets. There was a minimal free breakfast available--coffee, danish, cereal, and bananas. I only saw one staff person doing the check-in, cleaning the rooms, etc. She was very friendly and helpful. "For the 3 of us, it was great. We enjoyed the Presque isle hiking trails, kayaking and boat tour spread out over 3 days. Local meadery was a nice find. Campfire Friday and Saturday nights. "If I could give more stars I would. This cottage is beautiful and clean. Lake Erie is an easy walk and the creek behind the house meets the lake, the views are wonderful. "We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house and property set the mood for a girls wine weekend. The charm of the 1800s house with vineyards, an old barn and tree swing. It's proximity to the wineries, distilleries and lake Erie was amazing. Everything was only minutes away. We can't wait to come back and just escape for another long weekend"

"We stayed for a long weekend to see the eclipse. We had a small issue with the lockbox checking in but they were super quick to rectify that as the owner lives next door. We loved the grounds because it gave my 2 year an opportunity to explore. The house is up on a hill so you do get a nice little view of the lake as well. It’s an old farm house and it has a lot of charm. Everything we needed was provided. It is also close to all the wineries in North East. I would definitely stay there again!"

"Booked this property to watch the 2024 solar eclipse (more than 2 years advance!) and it did not disappoint! Beyond the fact that it was the perfect size for my group (7 adults), very clean, and stocked with everything we could possibly need, the best part of this property by far is the views!! I highly recommend this property - the property manager is great, was a great value, and it was the perfect setting for witnessing the total eclipse - an experience I’ll never forget!"

"Me and my now fiancée stayed here for a weekend Valentine’s trip to wine country, the location is excellent, right in between tons of wineries, plenty of great food/restaurants and still on a quiet street just outside of town.
