“My daughter and I spent a weekend at the Flackley Ash hotel and had a wonderful time. The food was very good and there is a decent pool and gym there. The best thing though are the staff they are friendly efficient and just make the experience so much better. ”

“Sarah was very welcoming and friendly. She showed us to our room, informed us of the call system if will required any beverages. Room 9 was facing the rear of the property, so was totally free from any traffic noise. We had a sound sleep in a comfy bed. Breakfast was more than adequate and delicious. A short but pleasant stay.”

“Pleasant hotel with decent public areas. Food good in restaurant but not able to sample breakfast as this was too late for business guests. Room very warm and difficult to cool even with supplied fan. Quite a tricky exit/entrance from main road depending on time of day. Staff lovely and made to feel welcome during the stay. Good value for the room chosen and overall a good experience.”

“Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.”

“Location was prefect walking distance to everything and lovely being next to the river with view of boats. Is on main road but the car park gives it distance so no noise. Staff were lovely especially the young bubbly lady who serviced us at breakfast who was very attentive. Room was a brilliant size double bed with 2 single bed we were very comfortable. No fridge was a bit of a let down and the room could use a good deep clean I.e. dust around the pipes in the bathroom. They let use the car park……

“The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com……
