“I had a two night stay at Glenbrittle while visiting Isle of Skye. The room was comfy enough (a little cramped for ten people), the bathrooms were nice and very clean, the common areas were well stocked and cozy. There's also a great waterfall right across the road from the hostel and plenty of sheep and lambs to watch in the evenings. ”

Very comfy well equipped older cottage. Keith was great to chat with. The 4 mile one track road in was slow due to the traffic to the Talisker Distillery but that is no fault of the cottage. “This is a quiet, rural location near the ocean and accessed via single track. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Comfy bed. Breakfasts were varied and quite good. The hosts are super. You'll have to drive to find dining options but there are many within a 15-minute drive. ”

“To keep it simple, it was really nice. Great location, nice neighbours and a great village. The cottage is clean, well organized and really cozy accommodation for trips to the Isle of Skye or a little break in beautiful Carbost. We' ve got many good informations about it beforehand by our host. Definitely recommended and would book it again, any time.”

“The location was excellent but finding the property was hard. A small flag at the driveway entrance would help a lot. We loved sitting out at the fire pit in the evening the view is fantastic, and the ambiance memorable. The Aga stove needs to be on if you are going to cook, but does give off a lot of heat. We were 7 people and there was a shortage of small glasses and no small side plates which we would have liked. The tog rating for the beds were too much for the warm weather and an option to……
