“Nice little cottage”

“The cabin was very nice, but did not include running water or a bathroom. The lack of a private bathroom and running water was difficult.”

“Was great for sleeping. Did miss wifi but we were only there at night.”

“Great place to stay. Within 2 minutes walking distance near the bathrooms, the property has three coin operated washing machines ($2.25 per load ) and four clothing dryers ($0.25 for 8 minutes) if you need clothes washed during your stay.”

“This year we decided that instead of buying presents, we would spend time together in a cozy cabin in the woods. We arrived and had a little bit of a hard time finding our cabin and since, it was the 24th of December and there was no one to help us get to our cabin, we started looking around. The place itself is beautiful because it is in nature but there is unnecessary stuff all around, even a plane. The cottage was cute but when we walked in there were plug ins everywhere, we hate plug ins as……

“The property is located in a beautiful forested area. Martha, the owner, was an outstanding hostess. She was friendly and very helpful. The home cooked breakfasts were well prepared and delicious. The only issue we had was the GPS took us to the property through a back route that was longer and over gravel road. ”

“Loved staying at this sweet spot in Mineral! The place was cozy, clean, and well appointed. Especially appreciated the cast iron pan! Lots of fun things to do all around and loved how close it was to Lassen. Would definitely come again.”

“We had a great one night stay. I got caught up in a wave down by the beach and was soaked from head to toe. The hosts insisted on washing and drying all of my clothes and left them by our room while we went and enjoyed the area. The room was very comfortable, great bed and wonderful hosts.”

“The motel looked like it had been renovated at some time or another but it didn’t look like they were keeping up with maintenance and the room could have definitely been cleaner. The electric vehicle charging stations that can be found in the motels’s parking lot had been blocked by a poorly educated inconsiderate. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. A good nights sleep is so important on vacation and all the beds were very comfy. We enjoyed a week of quilting, shopping at a great quilt shop in Susanville, visiting breathtaking Mt Lassen Park and Burney Falls. We hope to return next year to explore more of the area.”

“Excellent location next to Lassen. Wonderful spot. We arrived late at night and it was great to wake up the next morning and see the beautiful area. House was great and had everything we needed.”

“We spent the Memorial Day weekend at Erica’s cottage the second year in a row. It is still as wonderful as it was last year. We had great time in Lassen National Park, there is plenty to see and do. This cottage is a great place to be your starting point to your visit at the park. It has everything you’d need for your stay. I hope we’ll be back soon!”

“If you’re looking for a high class interior, don’t come here. It’s really all about the great outdoors. The hot tub and exterior of the house is wonderful. Very kind people here, very quiet. It’s just that the farmhouse looks better in the photos than it actually is. It’s totally functional though and was perfect for our needs.”

“The RV we had reserved did not have a functioning refrigerator so we were "upgraded" to a larger place. It did not have the same amenities as the original place. Instead of a full kitchen, there was a hot plate and tiny microwave. Instead of a dinette table, there was a postage stamp sized table that barely held 2 plates. There was no couch. . The bunk beds were wedged next to the refrigerator so every time the refrigerator kicked on, the sleeper was startled awake. The location itself was quiet……

“Well, it did not feel like a resort. It was mostly like a trailer park with tents, cabins and trailers. I think the property needs to have a landscaping consultant to evaluate and redesign it to feel more like a resort. Also hard to find entrance off Hwy44 at night as the sign is faded and without any lighting.”

“This is an amazing property and home! We loved how kid friendly it is and even though we didn’t bring our dogs they had so many extras for fur babies as well. Home owner was very nice and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!”
