"A fantastic place to stay with lovely cottages, a pool, bar, restaurant and delightful gardens with lots of birds. Andre and his family and staff provide us with really helpful and friendly service definitely going the extra mile for us. Dinner is a set menu but you can ask for an alternative. The chicken pie may be the best chicken pie I have ever eaten."

Lovely porch with chairs and a nice fire to sit by with other guests, if you choose. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. You can choose to eat at their restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had a lovely breakfast on the rooftop that had a beautiful view of the ocean. "This was out 3rd stay at Westlodge: 2014, 2019 and 2024. We keep coming back due to its quality. It's obviously under new management since our last visit. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. Breakfast was lovely and of good quality. If I could give 4.5 I would. I just feel the standard has slipped since our last visit.
