"Great location that is NOT directly in Kalamata. 5 minutes drive down the street to all the action. No problem parking (in May). Staff were all extremely helpful and professional. Pool is very nice and big on a raised deck overlooking the beach which is right across the street. You can also walk into the action at Kalamata. Probably a 20 minute walk. I drove into town and was able to park in the large lot. Will recommend and return to this hotel. Only issue was the entrance for th hotel is on the side street and Apple Maps sends you 3 blocks away (sad that Apple Maps still lacks)."

"Beautiful property in the middle of an olive orchard! Gorgeous pool area, amazing breakfast included. The property and rooms are gorgeous. We had a family suite with a loft that was spacious and beautiful. Staff made our stay even better!"

"We had an amazing three day stay at Filoxenia last week! The service was second to none! Everyone from the front desk, maids, wait staff were exceptional. Big shout out to Service Manager Adonis and his dedicated staff! Superstars! Adonis made sure we had a gluten free breakfast package for our 6:00 am checkout as we had to catch an early flight! Really above and beyond! Highly recommend! We will definitely be back! Yasas!"

"I thought that this was a very pleasant hotel where the staff could not have been more friendly or more helpful. Full credit to them. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a beautiful sea view. The operation of the lighting was a bit too complex, but this was just a detail - a bit of over-engineering from its recent refurbishment in what is otherwise a very good hotel."

"The property was very well situated (next to the sea). We slept very well and the bed were very confortable. The only things I’ll recommend it’s to have some vegetarian option for the breakfast. Other way it was a great breakfast and the staff were very nice and kind. "

"This was the best stay I had on my trip. Pristine silence and fresh air, and a small heating unit makes the room cozy. Comfy bed, pillows, and blankets. It's "minimal"... but really it has everything you need and more... Nikos was nice, communicative (over phone), and recommended a *great* local restaurant... 'En Chatipi' If you plan right and leave the heater on while showering, you can squeeze 12 minutes of steaming hot water. There's no wifi, but the place gets cell service. I did all my wifi things in town after dinner I visited in March and the oranges outside were ripe and delicious Thank you Nikos"
