“The only reason for the four instead of five is because the mattress was not supportive. I told the girl at the front desk. She thanked me and said she would let them know because she thought it was still under warranty. ”

“Very nice staff, friendly and helpful. Frig didn't work properly and AC unit was extremely loud and probably needed to be serviced. But would stay there again ”

“Property is an older building and within walking distance of the Southbridge Mall and Hockey arena. Although the mall doesn't have much in it anymore. Parking lot was well lit at night and staff was helpful. Room was clean and ready for arrival, but it had a bit of a stale musty smell. Refrigerator and microwave in room worked fine. For the lower cost and just needing a place to crash at night it worked fine. If you want a place with more frills and amenities this would not fit that expectation.……

“It looked as though the hotel was in the process of a remodel. I believe I received a room which was finished. It was quite comfortable and beautiful. I did have a little trouble climbing into the bed. I'm on the short side, and I literally had to pull myself into the bed.”

“Always have a great stay at the Mason City Holiday Inn Express. Friendly staff, comfortable and quiet facilities, an excellent breakfast, and more. They need to have a tip jar for the kitchen help who make the wonderful food they provide to the guests for free.”

“Never ever take this hotel.....it's the most disgusting hotel that we ever stay before!! I even got itching after sat on the couch! By the way, we'ad booked for 4 nights for 2 rooms , but the front desk sent us an invoice and asked us to check-out (paid everything upfront)on the 4th morning; although we're more than happy to leave it, but who is going to return me the difference?”

“Perfect get a way”

“We love Clear Lake, the town and the lake itself. This property has been beautifully appointed and equipped with the latest technology - from check in to check out, the WIFI, the TVs, the Sonos speakers. Loved the renovations. The family could bond with games, food, walks, bike rides, getting out on the lake and just hanging out. Highly recommend.”

“We had booked multiple rooms only to find out there were no rooms for us. The hotel did not notify us in advance that the Travelocity booking was unable to be satisfied. Needless to say this is a huge problem if rooms cannot be confirmed and held when an active Travelocity itinerary appeared as though rooms were confirmed ”
