“Der Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Der Gastgeber ist zwar nicht vor Ort gewesen, aber es wurde alles toll organisiert. Die Nachbarin hat uns durch das Haus geführt und war immer bei Rückfragen erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben gewesen und die Lage auf ca. 1500m Höhe war einfach nur traumhaft. Absolut empfehlenswert, gerne jederzeit wieder.”

“Wunderschöne Lage mit traumhafter Aussicht. Gemütlich eingerichteter Wohnraum. Die Ausstattung der Betten dürfte verbessert werden: unterschiedlich große, teilweise zu kurze bzw. zu breite Bettdecken. Kopfkissen sollten gereinigt werden. Im Doppelzimmer gab es eine äußerst dünne "Matratze". Ausleuchtung des Wegs zum unteren nur von außen zugänglichen Zimmer fehlte.”

“This chalet was a perfect basecamp for traveling the Interlaken region. It is within a 20-minute walk of a major train station and the bus is one minute from the front door. My husband and I adored the small village where it is located. It was amazing to stay in a small and quiet location and easily get to the busier city of Interlaken. The chalet was clean, well organized, and the kitchen was very helpful to have. Communication is easy and efficient with the host. I highly recommend staying……

“Wonderful location, we rented a car and stayed for 2 nights, it was easy to drive to Interlaken and Thun. The mountain view is gorgeous and the chalet has everything you need except washer/dryer. There are rules including quiet hours/no showers after 10pm which we did not know beforehand, which would have been appreciated. Otherwise a great stay.”

“Very spacious, nice and clean property. We were a family group of 13 with 7 children and it was quite comfortable for us. We used 4 spacious bedrooms and there was a large loft as well with 10 single mattresses which we didn't use. You have to drive 12km up in the mountains on a very well maintained bandy road with beautiful views and through few tunnels. Good location with beautiful views, very spacious lounge and dining area and a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. 2 separate……

“Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!”

“Nous avons profité des espaces, de la vue et du jacuzzi. Nendaz n'est pas l'emplacement idéal pour le ski sur les 4 vallées, mais nous avons aimé le confort du chalet ainsi que ses équipements. Le chemin d'accès en voiture demande un peu d'agilité et surtout un équipement en chaines en cas de neige.”
