“It was absolutely fantastic, enjoyed the spa too. Clean room, polite staff and amazing location, green goodness everywhere and a nice garden. Only downside is that they only had complimentary cookies on Friday at the reception. 😇”

“A very nice and comfortable hotel with excellent grounds. Front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was ok but we waited 2 hours for our meal and it was quite expensive. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of good quality food but again, it was really busy and we had to eat in the bar. Pool facilities are good but limited to 1 hour slots.”

“We came here as I’m sure many do as a base for our Alton Towers adventures. The accommodation is basic but perfectly suited for this. After all we just needed a comfortable place for our family of four (inc. teenagers) to rest, wash and eat breakfast. Service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was yum and everything was reasonably priced. Thank you!”

“Perfectly decent hotel right next to the airport. Restaurant incredibly busy on the Saturday evening and staff were not polite or helpful! So we left. Welcome staff were great as were staff in the spa. ”

Food was amazing and they are always making sure the customers are happy and if there is anything they can do to help the customers, was an absolute delight with my dog, he got lots of attention. The only con was that the rooms are dated and the furniture seems aged but with the new management hopefully this may change. Will definitely return. ”

Immaculate, clean, stylish room. I dined in : good food. Stunning gardens and an awesome 17 century house with immaculate decor. ”
