“I was a little concerned with it being a new listing at first, but very happy with our decision. Starting after booking, the hosts / owners were happy to answer any questions and help us prepare for the trip even before we arrived. Jimmy was helpful in getting us, gear, and the rental boat to the island when we arrived at Moccasin Point where we left our vehicle. Arriving we found a beautiful island with a woodland feel. It is a rocky and set up a bit from the water giving wonderful……

“We have stayed at many VRBO properties, and this was one of the cleanest coziest places we have stayed. The kitchen, bathrooms and living areas were all very clean. There were many little extras like bikes, water equipment, etc. Very nice sturdy docks with bummer protection which is important to us traveling with our fishing boat. Very accommodating for our every need. Owners are right next door, but respective of our time and of our two dogs traveling with us. I would gladly stay at this……

“Water wasn't Hot, just a little more than warm. Refrigerator - freezer side door holders still fly off and everything hits the floor. Brought it up last year, nothing was fixed. Washer and dryer look identical, would be nice if they were labeled. And the tree on the right side of the driveway should be cut and removed. It cost me $2,000 for a new mirror. TV's should at least have local channels.”

“Property was as advertised and very clean. We were comfortable and plenty of room for the 3 of us and our two dogs. Hubby would appreciate a TV antenna for local channels vs just streaming service, but wifi worked great. Nice boat dock and quick access to great fishing spots as well as a nice setup for fish cleaning. Host was very responsive and we had no issues during our 6 day stay. Will definitely rebook.”

“My 2 teen age grandsons (14 & 17) made our 2nd annual grouse hunting trip to Northern MN. Despite rainy conditions, they had a great time, bringing 8 ruffed grouse back to Blaine, MN to share with family! Yum! Cabin was just as listed in VRBO—older but clean, comfortable beds, nice appliances. Owners pleasant and helpful. Thank you!”

“We needed a space near the Arrowhead trail to do race support for the Arrowhead 135. The location was convenient & it accommodated our team. Pleasant stay overall. Only complaint was the smoke alarm went off almost every time we used the stove, so we mostly used the microwave & a crock pot we brought. We would be happy to stay there again.”

“While the check in process was confusing as to where to check in, the stay was wonderful. Bob was extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of water activities to keep us busy. The lodge was a hit with ping pong and foosball. Wi-Fi was upgraded during our stay and has wonderful speeds. Unfortunately the closest town is 30 min away so make sure you have everything you need as the lodge has minimal supplies. I would have liked to have seen options for recycling instead of throwing everything away.”
