"We love the country so this was literally perfect for us. It was spacious for 2 (could accommodate more). It was meticulously cleaned. While the getaway is located on property, Lisa and Tony were hardly seen. But don't let that fool you. If you need anything they are right there to help. The getaway was cozy and had a homelike quality to it while also boasting the amenities you might find at a hotel and more. There were complimentary drinks and snacks, the hot tub was already warm and ready for use (we've been many places it had to heat up prior to use), there was even a massage chair that worked very well after hiking and a day at the different state parks (it is almost perfectly located central to 3 Turkey Run, Shades, and Racoon lake state parks). Lisa also had some recommendations in the guide book left for us to view, and without it I would've never had the best steak of my life (you'll have to look in the guide to find it :). I've stayed in cabins, hotel rooms and suites, rented homes, etc... on my vacations and little getaways with my wife. We both agreed that the Getaway is truly one of the best stays we've had overall. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're going to be in this area you should definitely cheek this place as a spot to stay. Just hope it isn't when we return because this is where we'll be staying any time we're in the area. Thank you so much for providing a hassle free and comfortable stay for us Tony and Lisa!"

"The manager was great, I booked in a hurry to escape a dangerous line of thunderstorms and it all went smoothly. I parked my motorcycle in a walkway by the laundry and wasn't told to move it. My only complaint is noisy neighbors but for the price and circumstances not a big deal."

"Right off of I-70 but didn’t hear any highway noise. Check in and check out was easy. The breakfast buffet was good. Everything seemed pretty clean and well cared for."

"I brought my sister and daughter to Montezuma/Parke County for the 2024 solar eclipse. The farmhouse is clean, and beautifully built, has very comfortable beds in the two bedrooms, a fireplace, a large kitchen and living room, and a relaxing furnished screened-in porch spanning the front of the house- looking out into farm fields. There is a tree house with swings, chickens, rabbits, and ducks on the very well-kept grounds which are on a beautiful hill. So fun! The host and his wonderful family live nearby and could not have been more friendly and helpful. They are very invested in the community, are true entrepreneurs, and are building big dreams for other businesses that will bring exciting things to Montezuma where the host grew up. There are beautiful woods, covered bridges, and Turkey Run State Park nearby, which offers great hiking opportunities. We look forward to returning to experience the fine restaurant that the host and his family are working on creating- along with other cool amenities they want to include. This was a gem of a visit!"
