The location is indeed super, and the breakfast is excellent. However, the single room is extremely disappointing and even awkward. It is almost the smallest room that I have ever stayed in. The bathroom is far too narrow. There is no chair, only a stool. No table. Only a small cabin which has a small fridge inside. The window is not tight...

"Great friendly couple running the place. Rooms and property are well managed and clean. Breakfast is prepared by yhe owner and you have thr choice of trying regional foods as well. Around the area there are spas and amusement parks, so there’s plenty to do."

"The Parkhotel is an old hotel with character and well-kept up. The location is good: beautiful nature and quiet but in walking distance from center. We stayed in a nice and spacy junior suite. The only problem was that the airconditioner did not work - fortunately it was not very hot during our stay. Staff is very fiendly, breakfast is excellent and the swimming pool and wellness facilities (big sauna and steam room, hot and cold showers) are wonderful. "

Dislikes included some lights not working in the room, person checking me out was clueless, absolutely no Wi-Fi signal in the room but was available in the hallway, different pieces of wall trim both in the hallway and room were hanging loose and shower barely worked. One of the worse hotels I have ever stayed at."

"Hotel wordt gewaardeerd met 4 sterren en goede recensies, waar die vandaan komen is ons een raadsel. Hotel is oud, gehorig, niet heel erg schoon, ontbijt mag best wat luxer (nep croissants en harde broodjes uit plastic kan echt niet!!!). Hotel bed lag goed en het is op zeer korte loopafstand van Valkenburg centrum, grote pre! Onze algehele indruk was dat het hotel n flinke renovatie nodig heeft om weer van deze tijd te zijn.
