“The location is good as it is directly linked to the mall. The overall service is average in all areas except the restaurant! You will get angry at the early morning during queuing up for the breakfast buffet. The receptionists (one tall & thin and the other is a bit fat) of the restaurant are always in very bad temper and not polite. We have stayed here for 6 days and observed that they have made all different countries guests get angry before settling down the table. I think they are not……

“The service we received at the TAJ was exemplary. We booked the TAJ based on previous stays at 2 locations in India and are so glad we did. We were immediately greeted on arrival. The staff took charge of our numerous pieces of luggage and our reservation was pulled up while we were offered a special tea and then whisked away to our room. “Stayed 4 nights. Rooms are pretty good size. Everything was clean and looked new. Bathroom was opened to the bedroom so it was a little inconvenient for my husband who woke up1.5 hours before me. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Made a dinner reservation for us on the first night. Although there’s no restaurant at the hotel, Lily’s next door was open for breakfast at 7:30. Food at breakfast was excellent. You can order room service from there too. We loved being by the ocean and……
