Couple of minor things easily remedied, window plunder in the room was damaged & ash window would not stay open. The shower head badly leaked and just needs a new seal. We went on Motorbikes and parking was easy and secure with fantastic trips out from the hotel. ”

“Very impressed with our Executive room, nice size room and bathroom. Only suggestion is that bigger towel rails are fitted in the bathroom. To be eco friendly and reuse the towels, larger rails are needed so the towels can dry.”

“We loved the quaintness of the hotel - it was beautiful too. The area is perfect for walking/rambling and was very quiet. The staff we encountered were lovely, kind, helpful and polite. And we particularly loved Gus, the resident doggie. Checking in was easy when we realised it was a staff-free experience and had to use codes and lock boxes to get the keys - simple and effective.”

“The door on the pod we stayed in did not lock, we had to take our belongings with us and leave it unlocked. Otherwise amazing place, lovely food and staff.”

“What I love this hotel the most is the breakfast, its by order and put you feel like on vocation (I am on biz trip). The staff was very nice as well. The hotel location is perfect and nearby market place, very easy to walk around this lovely city. The only thing that need to improve is the internet connection, it was that good in my room.”

“We stayed at the Rose & Crown for an overnight stop, on our way back to Bristol from a weeks holiday in Scotland. The hotel has been there since 1455, lots of history, we found it to be a very cosy and quaint. Real wood fires making the snug cosy and warm. Manager and staff were lovely and friendly nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent as was the service. Our room was comfortable the four poster bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of it. Breakfast was good great choice. Will……
