“The property is very small (maximum of 6 guests), and is essentially a renovated old farmhouse. That’s what makes it so quaint and unique, plus it’s very quiet. The host is extremely friendly, and since it’s a B&B we had a really nice breakfast cooked for us in the morning. The only downside (thankfully we didn’t run into this issue) is that the two “standard” rooms share a bathroom. I feel like this should be stated VERY clearly and up front in the listing. I certainly don’t want to pay $100 ……

“My wife and I had a great time staying at the Jackson House. The owners were so friendly, accommodating, the breakfast/cookies/coffee were fabulous. We look forward to our next trip here. The trail is right outside and a good excuse to get some steps in each day.”

“My husband I enjoyed our stay at Linda’s home. It was perfect for what we needed, as we were in town for a family celebration in Westminster. It is a historic home, so as a therapist, I have to say that it would not be good for someone with orthopedic or balance issues since it has stairs with no handrail to get to the bedroom, and some of the wooden flooring is uneven. However, for able bodied individuals it is a cozy, warm and comfortable stay! The kitchen and bathroom are both recently……

“There were four adults who shared apartment A. It was a great place to just "hang out." We enjoyed sitting around the fire ring listening to the birds and walking over to see the horses and deer in the field. We only stayed two nights. The beds were comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. The kitchen was equipped with most of what you would need, although we could have used a grater for cheese and a baking dish. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time and would stay here again.”

It was a wonderful experience for all ages. The property is also located. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping , so it was just amazing.”

“The guest house is excellent -- very cozy and inviting inside. It is on a farm with the requisite farm "look." Do not expect manicured landscaping, but rather enjoy a stroll around the grounds and take in the sights on a working farm.”

“This place has it all! In both the grounds and house, there is a generosity of space, and yet it feels cozy and approachable. The landscaping—including two ponds—makes the area seem private, and yet we got tired exploring! The home has a capacity to hold a crowd, but we gathered comfortably in the living and dining areas. This gem in the PA countryside is one that I hope to return to again and again. Plus the homeowner made check in and arrangements easy.”
