“We had a very enjoyable week at Loon Lodge. The property is ideally situated on a nice sandy beach with beautiful sunsets. The cottage is well equipped and nicely set back from the water. Lots of kayaking, cycling, and hiking nearby. I highly recommend this cottage.”

“My family of five had a great long weekend here. Clean and spacious house, great deck, firepit and dock by a clear and quiet lake. General store and a few restaurants just a few mins drive away. Shelley and Henry were wonderful hosts and made sure we settled in well. Highly recommend!”

We took advantage of the area's attractions such as local antique car show, biking, hiking and the Bonnechere caves. The lake is very clean and clear and was great for swimming. I would recommend the provision of a microwave and bath towels to make it even better. Overall was a great value.”

We hiked the nearby hydro Palmer Rapids portage route every day. The kids cold plunged in the river and then warmed up by the bonfire. The river itself is majestic at this spot and the view from the cottage sofa and the screened-in porch was excellent. Kellie and Florencia were easy to get ahold of and answered any question we had. “This is a great option if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The lake is ideal for swimming and using the SUP and paddle boat. The selection of DVDs and board games provided were great for downtime and rainy days. The beds were comfortable and the house has everything you need! We couldn't get any cell service in the immediate area, but if you are looking to switch off, this shouldn't be a problem! Overall a really good stay!”

“We rented this property for a weeks vacation to go snowmobiling. It is located very close to the trails, and the circular driveway made trailer parking very easy. The house itself was great - clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, huge dining table, and everything as promised. We would definitely return to this location!”
