“We had a beautiful weekend at the Hope and Glory Inn! The owners, the staff and every small detail were perfect. We felt so well-taken care of and would gladly return for another visit. It was a perfect way to start our vacation! Romantic and relaxing. Just what we needed. Thank you!”

“Quite a few of the family members were in their 70s and 80s. No way the cottages could sleep 6. One family member was 5 years old and is autistic. He was able to go down the water slide Twice and then was told he could not go on the water side again. The people 'in charge' did not understand what autism is. ”

“We had a nice, comfortable stay in Mathews. Our daughter graduated from USCG BM A School in Yorktown, about 35min from this property. She stayed one night with us, along with my husband, my father in law, two teens and two dogs. The house is very dog friendly with supplies and a big yard. Clean, comfortable place to hang out! Awesome communication with host! Great breakfast at Howard-Dooley Cafe just a few minutes away.”

“We stayed at POP CASTLE for our daughter's wedding. The landscaping was BEAUTIFUL and the house was IMMACULATE! With 6 bedrooms and 7 baths, our family of 12 was very comfortable! The kitchen was 5 star and my husband could not wait to cook dinner there! We relaxed on the back porch with outstanding river views, spent time on the dock, took sunset photos, and shared so many wonderful memories together! I definitely recommend this magical place to anyone looking for a private sanctuary to spend……
