“We had a lovely stay and would like to return ”

“Very good stay indeed. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Supplied an iron. Little critisisms: not enough milk for the tea, asked the staff if they could deal with a fly in our room whilst we were away and they said yes. The fly was still there on our return and the other staff said they didn't deal with that sort of thing. I asked for fly killer and there was none. I ended up killing the fly myself. Not much of an issue but would've been good if they said at first that I had to deal with it myself.……

“Lovely hotel, very close to M5, superb front of house staff, very pet-friendly, nice bar and outside seating area. Very clean, comfy bed, big pillows, good shower. The only thing that brings down our score was the unexpected visitors who came into our room at 8:45am, despite us not having checked out. That process needs looking into.”

“A grade II listed property in a historical part of Shepton Mallet. Took time to read up on the area, would recommend everyone to do that, very interesting. Comfortable bed, clean room and great hosts. Some noise from the road adjacent to the Inn, not a deal breaker. Would I stay here again Yes. ”

“Lovely property, very spacious double bedroom with jacuzzi bath. The bath filters needed cleaning as left some residue in the bath when turned on and the blind on the door was broken, but it was shut so that wasn’t terrible and neither detracted from our stay. Loved the room. Very clean and spacious. No smart tv so couldn’t watch Netflix or Disney. The only thing that lets the place down is the breakfast. My husband didn’t like his salmon and scrambled eggs on toast- said the toast wasn’t great……

“Polite staff, good service and knowledgeable of the area. Property could do with some general attention, as it looks tired. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also very good, with a good selection. Would definitely recommend to others”

“It was such a fun experience staying in this historic Inn! The decor maintained the historical feel, and it was a fun place to stay while visiting Glastonbury. We were able to walk everywhere (including to the top of the Tor - which seemed dauting but was not that bad!) For vegetarians - we had a great plant based burger for dinner at the restaurant, and the English Breakfast included in the morning was a very hearty way to start the day. “We were fortunate to stay at Mullions 51 on the recent Bank Holiday Monday. In the evening the local folk group entertained us with their singing and guitar playing, whilst we had dinner in the restaurant. They play every fortnight on a Monday and I feel Mullions 51 would do well to include a set meal on their menu to accompany their visits, and encourage people to stay. “We were catching up with friends and family in Yeovil. We hadn't been to Yeovil for about 10 years and didn't recognise the town. Lots of renovation going on which will make it more modern. Even the weather was good .We wont leave it that long next time .”
