"The room that we got first was still occupied, but they gave us another room in seconds. The room was roomy and clean. The location is fantastic, when driving away in the morning we had an encounter with some deer. They also offer diner. There was buffet with fantastic food. The breakfast was also delicious and varied. "

"We had a lovely stay at this charming inn. It is not "pristine" as the main part of the inn is very old... but therein lies its character and charm. The inn and its grounds are lovely and the large window in our room provided a gorgeous view of sunrise over the mountains. Very convenient to Hendersonville with plenty of restaurants and cute shops. But there are so many great spots at the inn - both inside and outside - I equally enjoyed time just reading a book and enjoying the views. "

"The Henderson is a very charming and rustic place to stay. It is in a great location and is very convienent to the local shops, restaurants and pubs. The host and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They provide two choices for breakfast each morning. The meals are delicious. We plan on making the Henderson our play to stay when visiting my hometown of Hendersonville, NC. "

"Loved the property. However, breakfast was really not that good. Cold stale biscuits, cold boiled eggs, dry toast with really no options for jam etc. Quiche was mediocre at best. Was supposed to be a fire in the fire pit but none that night. Overall poor experience. Loved the property though and will give it another try when it is more in season with more people and hopefully better amenities."

"There were many extra details added by the host, and the property is an amazing space with the cool cabin, and the stream, firepit, and picnic area out back. I would definitely stay here again! One thing to know is that there are no doors for the bedrooms (only curtains). This was not an issue for us as we are family (and this actually added to the ambience for us :), but for some travelers, not having the doors might matter. "

"it was a very clean and comfortable cottage. A little unsure how the hvac system worked and recommend sleep masks due to the many windows that do not have curtains. good location to hiking trails."

"Barn attached place to stay at best, pretty remote and probably over priced. Its spartan at best, not real clean, bathroom though quite decent. Kitchen old and farm barn like. Bed acceptable but forget the fold out little sofa. Living/sitting space is VERY small. We were disappointed although my wife enjoyed the donkey. "

"We came to go snowtubing at moonshine mountain with our 10year old daughter. She loved the room , it was perfect for her! it was also so friendly for our doggy! Including linens to cover furniture for dog to enjoy lounging while we adventured. And also dog treats at arrival! the location was perfect. We were a 2 minute drive or 10minute walk to incredible food of any kind and shopping right down town. The water pressure was good and got hot FAST! it had everything we needed for a convenient...
