"The rooftop bar was amazing. If you stay here, do not miss an opportunity to have a drink iup there. Rooms were well put together HOWEVER, the music was so loud the last two nights of my stay in the club area, I literally could not sleep. I was awake until 2am ? and had to get up for a flight....two nights in a row. Choose a room on a higher floor. They called this an "upgrade" but it was really not. I was on Floor 3 "

"My wife and I had a great time at the Citizen M! It was our first time visiting NY and we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooftop bar is amazing! Justin was our bartender at the roof top bar and he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Through conversation Justin found out it was our first time visiting New York and he took the time to tell us about the city and gave us pizzeria recommendations. It's customer service like this that makes us want to come back to the citizen...

The place this hotel lacks is the service staff. I will exclude the front desk staff and the host from breakfast, but the wait staff in this hotel breakfast brought my rating down from 5 to 3 stars.
