“Nice historic property in an area that is located in the Central Business District and about 4 blocks from the French Quarter. Staff is fantastic but the rooms can use an update (which I was told is coming soon).”

“The location is amazing. The staff was good. The property was well maintained. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. Security in front was excellent. However my card opened a door that wasn’t mine and i quickly closed it but that prompted me to make sure i locked my things up in case someone accidentally opened my door and got curious. ”

“Overall it was good. Carpets in halls were a bit dirty. They could use a good cleaning. Ice machine on 3rd floor was broke.”

“The location is in the city center, easy to go anywhere. But if you drive by yourself, it is inconvenient to park, and the cleanliness of the room is average. When we first arrived, the bathroom was very smelly, and there was no exhaust fan to dispel the smell.”

“I really like this hotel but this trip it was less than excellent simply because it was so busy. There was no space to enjoy the pool because so many people were hanging up in the pool area. It felt very hip and trendy rather than the homey feeling I felt the last time I was here. ”

The photos looked great, but the reality was vastly different, with worn-out sofas. Very disappointed. This hotel doesn't even come close to a 4-star standard, and staying here was very unpleasant. Eventually left a day early and switched to another hotel.”
