“Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff were all really friendly, informative and welcoming. Feel it is a little overpriced but Pitlochry itself is pretty pricey. It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. ”

“Grounds are lovely. When checking out, there was a 15-20 minute wait at reception. Need more staff. The lodge itself was spacious however upon entry there was multiple wasps & bugs are around the property. Cob webs on ceiling in spare room. Requires a good proper clean.”

“This is one of the best parking lots we encountered in all of Scotland. The hotel had a nice continental breakfast that you could also get hot or cold breakfast in addition to the continental items and it had a large variety items you can order for dinner.”

“Room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden and the river. Staff were friendly and efficient, and breakfast was very good. The hotel has the ambience of a beautiful country house, with many original features. We have stayed here many times and the hotel never fails to please. One very minor point, the potholes on the driveway!”

“Excellent staff, although there’s no AC, and rooms and en-suites are looking a little rough around the edges, the walls are thin and the floors are creaky, doors slam everywhere, not the clientele, just the nasty door closers. don’t let that put you off, Great location, even better staff ”
