“Great little gem of a motel far enough off the highway you don't hear much traffic. Lovely rooms with front and back doors! Cafe on site served fantastic breakfasts and lunches. Amazing, friendly staff with great suggestions for local activities,”

“I went with a group of friends and it was just the beginning of the season so we had the entire property to ourselves. All the staff were extremely friendly and nice. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. A separate shout out to Michael and Raj. Do ask for them when you visit.”

“Beautiful property and well maintained. Owen responded to our questions promptly. Plenty of room for our family (adult children and toddler grandchild) with room to spare. Spent the weekend ice fishing, sledding, making snow people and great memories. Only thing that would have been better would have been catching some fish. ;) .Would definitely recommend this property.”

“I was overall satisfied with the stay. The only concern I had was that I wasn't informed that a change in accommodation was needed (the apartment I initially booked had water problems) until AFTER I reached out about the check-in process the day before. I received a response back on the day I was checking in, even though the problem had obviously occurred if not days, weeks beforehand and it seemed I wasn't going to be told about this until I showed up. This could have been a bigger problem……

“We loved the place! It was well kept, clean and perfect for our large family. Plenty of room and things to do. Well stocked kitchen, towels, and blankets. Owner was great too! Definitely would recommend and stay again!”

“The photos in the listing are not accurate. There are many carpets in this cottage, covering up badly damaged floors. The shower has several loose tiles and is covered in mold - I did not use it. The hot tub was it's saving grace. The layout of the cottage is perfect for 2 people getting away for a short trip and definitely has potential but is not, in my opinion, in any condition to be rented...certainly not for the price we paid...as a result we cut our trip short and checked out early.”
