“Loved our stay at True North B&B. Deb is an excellent host - very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Her breakfasts are next level! The bed is comfortable and the room is very spacious. It is a nice quiet spot and the pool is so refreshing. If staying on Magnetic Island Horseshoe Bay is the place to stay - beautiful beach, a number of great restaurants, access to walking tracks, a good bus service (we had our own car but the bus was quite regular). If we return to Magnetic Island we would……

“Too much noise from other tenants kids/ young ones. It seems unsafe because you really don’t know if they are clients or trespassers, noisy until midnight somewhere at the back area, other than that the place was clean.”

“The motel has chosen a wood floor type which makes the room much more wellcome (and clean) than the usual tiles you will find in 99% of accomodation in AUS in small towns. In bigger cities carpets seems to dominate. It was indeed clean all over, we will be back. ”

“We stayed in the family cabin with our 4 children. We all enjoyed our stay. The room had its own toilet and shower, a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Though the bed had sheets and pillows, there was no blankets so we were a little cold during the night. The lounge area was popular with the kids, they loved the beanbags and hammocks. The pool area was well equiped with bean bags, hammocks and plenty of shade from surrounding trees. The bar was only staffed by one person on the Saturday……

“Property was in good condition, staff member was really nice. Gym advertises a gym but found out upon arrival that they no longer have one. Room smelled a bit damp, but was spacious and comfortable for a 3 night stay.”

“A beautiful property, However, our room faced the Magnetic Ferry Terminal. Was woken up both mornings by trucks engine noise and air brakes at 5:40am. If you want quiet ask for a room away from the noisy trucks and cars.”

“The Beach House Motel is clean and very well presented. It's in a great location - lovely cafes and restaurants neaby, a short walk to Coles, and across from The Strand with lovely walking paths. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. I would make this our stay of choice when travelling to town for medical appointments etc.”

“We had one bed room apartment. Big room and close to restaurant . Staff and housekeeping very friendly ..but lots of ants at kitchen .WIFI was so slow. Swimming pool very small.”

“We liked that it had a kitchen sink, Spacious, table & chairs, dispensers in the bathroom we thought were unique. We felt that the tv may have been good in the right-hand corner of the room .”
