“On the second night of check-in, we found that there was no water in the toilet and bathroom, making it impossible to take a shower or flush the toilet. This surprised us very much.”

“My visit to Dana Point was a belate birthday trip for myself to spend time with my daughter & grandson from San Diego. I picked the Best Western Marina Shores Hotel because it is located along a beautiful stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway. The staff was friendly & helpful, addressing all of my questions & concerns. Our hotel room was a spacious suite with a wonderful balcony offering a spacious view towards the south coast & a perfect sunset. There was a vast variety of wonderful restaurants……

“Everything about the room was great and staff was very friendly . The only thing was We just felt a little unease in the room . Someone knocked at our door at around 5:00 p.m. Saturday May 25th.. a man wearing a yellow shirt with a backpack .. I did not open door but tried asking through the door what he needed .. he did not respond and kept knocking and eventually left . At night when we were a sleep at 1:30 a.m. I was awaken by knocks at our door again . I didn’t see who it was this time. I……

“The view was from the room was absolutely amazing and you are walking distance to all the cool restaurants and shops. That made it all worth it. We had a great time. That said, the air conditioning and wi-fi don't work, they know they don't work, and they don't seem to care that they don't work. Luckily, neither really affected the trip for us too much, but you should be aware. But with the poor cell coverage, best this be an unplugged trip. ”
