“My wife and I stayed at Apache Pines in September for hiking and site seeing, and again in February to ski at Bear Valley. We like the house and its location and are likely to stay there in the future. Parking would be an issue in the winter if there are more than two cars. The lower level of the house has a bedroom, bath and family room which are great if traveling with kids. There is no master suite, the two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. “We brought our kids and their kids. We had an amazing time. The house was perfect for us. The hot tub was amazing. The game room was so fun! We had Pac-Man enthusiasts that were very happy. Rooms were great and beds comfy. Hosts were attentive. Side note, there was some white dog hair on love seat…not from our brown dog! No problem just wanted to let you know. “We had a wonderful stay. Pictures accurate &instructions were clear. We wanted a brief 3-day weekend getaway with our dog to enjoy nature and this was perfect! Pros: very clean, has all you need to enjoy your stay, cook, entertain yourselves, etc. All kitchen needs were more than met, lots of board games and even a piano! Furniture very comfortable & you can sleep two 5'6" adults comfortably on the downstairs couch (I tested, I approve!), very easy to get to. Very quick replies to questions in……

“Cabin itself was nice and just as decribed. Clean and has basically everything you could need. The cabin was very welcoming and the A/C is great ..downstairs has no ac though just fyi. Location you can hear and see hwy 4 thats only location complaint but it’s not a big deal at all. I would recommend darker curtains for the livingroom area since they is totally see through and does not keep the sun out and better quality kitchen pan and pots. If you plan to cook alot I would bring your own.……

“Booking this cabin was easy. The cabin was perfect in size, location, very well maintained and well equipt with everything you need for a winter getaway!
