“Booking this cabin was easy. The cabin was perfect in size, location, very well maintained and well equipt with everything you need for a winter getaway! Kids and adults had fun playing in the snow and building a snowman with the snow right outside the cabin, or just enjoying the amenities, wifi, cable, boardgames, etc. Plus the general store is nearby for any extra needs of food/snacks/ and winter gear. “My family and I stayed at this pinecrest retreat during our snow trip. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The stairs were interesting to navigate with a 2 year old toddler and two older grandparents, but it was doable. Heating consists of wall units and a fireplace. It was walking distance to Leland snowplay. No wifi was refreshing as it allowed us to unplug and spend quality time together. There were plenty of movies available for us to watch. There was even fresh marshmallows to add to our cocoa. I appreciated that we didn’t have to run out to get more trash bags or dishwashing soap (the basics one doesn’t pack but needs). “Some friends and I stayed and totally relaxed in this beautiful cabin, we only wished it could have been longer, ha ha! It was filled with every amenity you could think of, which was so appreciated. The views were absolutely amazing. I especially love the stained glass window in the master bedroom. I stayed in the loft on the trundle bed and every morning when I woke up, the sun would be shining through the Stain glassed window, which I thoroughly enjoyed. “We had a great time with my family of four and our two small dogs. There was plenty of room and it was a great location. The pilot light was out in the fireplace, but that was fixed within an hour, thank you very much. There was also no sponge to wash dishes, but that was fixed quickly as well. Plenty of room in the cabin to relax and play. Close to snow. We loved that the back deck was fenced for our dogs. Overall we were very happy and would go back.”

“Close to off roading trails. Had to initiate contact with owner to get access information. Once contact made, no problems with getting a responses during visit. Locks are trickle, key is lift the handle up to lock. Owner provided everything you need. Was a great experience.”

FYI-I never give 5 stars because to me, that indicates perfection and IMHO, anything can be improved. The backyard was great for our needs with all fresh snow and we were able to do sledding for our 3 year old boys and 6 year old.
