“The Amble Inn was very comfortable and dog friendly - however, there were no signs to advise where dogs were allowed to go in the restaurant area so needless to say my dog & I were asked to move! There should be a sign to let customers know! Breakfast choice was good but luke warm. The toaster was not user friendly. The choice at dinner was good but didn't taste anything like I was expecting - Venison Moussaka - which was smothered in so much tomato paste one couldn't taste anything but. The……

“Rooms were of a high standard and the service was very good. No lift and emergency lighting in our room was a bit bright and above the bed but overall happy to recommend ”

“This hotel is “ rustic “ a little and it is a pleasure to stay there. The room was big and plenty of drawers and cupboards. The bed was really comfortable. The service at the meals was amazing. Food great. Not a huge choice but easily enough to choose from. Would recommend this hotel. The only drawback is the difficulty of parking as the town is small and there are few places to park near. ”

Please note that the location of the accommodation is within a residential estate and is a terraced block. We were able to hear noise and conversations from neighbouring properties and so felt very conscious of our own noise levels when in the apartment. Parking was no problem as the apartments have their own car park. It us a short drive from shops but you don't have to go miles. Would certainly book again if I'm in the area.”

“The property is very nice, nicely furnished and very clean. We did feel that it lacked in terms of things provided, such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, just one USED dishcloth. No welcome pack with instructions, and parking was very confusing. We unpacked the car a the rear of the house, which upset the neighbour. We parked in the nearby public car park for the duration of our stay. We were also disappointed to find out that there was no live TV channels.”

“A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access.”
