“The staff was amazing. We had an issue with our first room and they were super quick to change our room and apologize for the mishap, no questions asked. It was quiet and not far from all the places had planned to go. Definitely recommend for a small, affordable but nice place 😊”

“Lacked a few amenities like firewood, sugar and creamer for coffee, the games were missing pieces, the cornhole bags were a little deflated, bed was a bit too firm, and the cleaning fee was a little pricey, but overall we enjoyed our stay. The water was hot, the hot tub was nice, kitchen had a big table to play games and the outside area was very relaxing. Overall experience was great, just lacked some of the finer details.”

The property was clean, easy to access, and had all things needed to make our stay wonderful. The property management responded very quickly to any messages, and this place really made our trip wonderful.”

“Dana was an absolutely great hostess! Anything we needed, she provided. The area was breathtaking. The cabin was spotless. It was located so closely to Beavers Bend, without all the traffic. The only complaint we had was that we could not stay any longer. We will definitely visit the Pine Cone again!”

“A group of us met to see the eclipse. We stayed in the cabin. Others stayed at the state park and hotel. The cabin was so awesome it became the meeting place. Everyone loved it. The back deck and the large living room were great gathering places. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The Tall Oak Cabin was in a great location with just enough seclusion from the main road. We enjoyed our stay especially with the use of the hot tub and fire pit. The only problem we had with the cabin is the lack of essential items such as salt and pepper (there was only one pepper shaker), no ice machine/ice tray, and the cabin has a guest book, but no pen on property to write about our experience. We also appreciated the small cleaning duties.”

“Place was beautiful very peaceful. The only negative thing was the road to this cabin which you had to have a truck or 4-wheel drive. I’d go back but not to this particular cabin. ”
