“This property and the cabin was awesome. Missy was a great host, she gave me very specific and accurate directions on how to find the cabin as google maps will not take you there. Everything about the trip was great. Its a great place to get away and just enjoy God's creation.”

The weather was overcast and raining the whole time but we were loving it. The land and trees are breathtaking, the cabin is perfect for 4 and had everything we needed. No oven, but we cooked on the Blackstone all weekend and now I want one of my own. Wifi was slow, but being out that far it is understandable and truly not an issue. Jed was quick to reply to all……

“Uncle Joe's Cabin retreat provides an opportunity to leave the stress of the city to enjoy nature. A short walk takes you to the creek. A short drive takes you to pastures with cows, goats, horses and donkeys. The cabin is well-equipped. When a rare problem arises, it is fixed in minutes, not hours or days. The view is exceptional. I wish Uncle Joe and all of his family the best in the future.”

“This property is perfect for a weekend to literally "get away" from it. There is not much close by, so take stuff to cook on the grill. The kitchen is small but manageable with some necessities in there like cookware and dishware and a convection oven that I baked a whole birthday cake in. A great place to hide from reality for a few days if you're into quiet and seclusion. We really liked it.”

“The view from the house was unparalleled open sky. The valley opens below you with a river running through it, complete with cows and goats grazing in the distance. We came for the solar eclipse 2024, but the night sky without any light pollution, was equally spectacular. The home was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had many sports activities for entertainment. We loved our stay and would like to come back and stay longer.”

“The communication from the host was great. Very informative about everything. The cabin was so peaceful. You can sit outside and hear the sounds of nature without the background noise of a city. You might hear a car or two go by, but the road isnt traveled often, so it was so nice. Its not far from Hochatown either if you need to go into town. The cabin was clean and so cozy. It had everything you would need, as if you were at home. We will be back. The quietness was the best part.”

“A year before the eclipse I started looking for a cabin to rent somewhere near Broken Bow (we have stayed in the area twice before). Admittedly, Chipmunk Cottage wouldn't have been my first choice but with vacancies filling up fast I decided to give it a go. Boy am I ever glad I did. Billy is a terrific host. He was so helpful, answering all my questions before arrival, giving us great advice on places to eat and he checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Such a……
