“My girls (ages 9 and 11) and I came for a girls' weekend/getaway and had a LOVELY time at this little spot! We all agreed, it was the perfect size, very neat, exceedingly comfortable bed and recliners, and the lighting left nothing to be disired by this lighting snob. My girls enjoyed the super deep tub, the playplace, and the yard was just right for throwing frizbee, games, doing cartwheels, etc. We also enjoyed the new, very neat nearby park recommended by the hosts. “Beautiful historic home. Instantly taken back to a more simple time in architectural appearance however all indoor amenities available, in good working order, and modern. Alissa was available and easy to access for any of our first time visit questions. Amazing customer service. Truly grateful to have her a message away. We visited from Texas and we were met with hospitality like no other with most locals (kind and courteous) on both sides of the Mississippi river. A 20min beautiful rural drive……

“It was a horrible experience. We were told that there would be someone on sight for emergencies. It is very dark on the property with no lights outside. We had people knocking on our windows late at night. Come to find out that there was no person on sight and we were out there alone. Poor communication by owner. Never have been so scared in my life. The inside was very musty and smelly. We had to empty the dehumidifier 4 times in a 2 night stay. There us only one lock on door with the keypads……
